This album was recorded on July 24th 2016 at Miner Street Studios in Philadelphia by Brian McTear and Amy Morrissey.

The musicians are campers between 9 and 12 years old who participated in Girls Rock Philly's 2016 Summer Camp at the Mastery Charter Thomas Campus. On Monday of camp, the bands on this album were formed; the songs were written collaboratively in 5 days, performed at Asian Arts Initiative on Saturday and recorded on Sunday. Many members of these bands had never played their instrument until the first day of camp.
