This album was recorded on July 17th 2016 at Miner Street Studios in Philadelphia by Brian McTear and Amy Morrissey.

The musicians are campers between 13 and 18 years old who participated in Girls Rock Philly's 2016 Summer Camp at the Mastery Charter Thomas Campus. On Monday of camp, the bands on this album were formed; the songs were written collaboratively in 5 days, performed at Union Transfer on Saturday and recorded on Sunday. Many members of these bands had never played their instrument until the first day of camp.
